Timberhonger 10k and Children's Challenge

Primrose Hospice is a nominated charity for this year’s Timberhonger 10k on 12th July, Bromsgrove Carnival Saturday. The race is in its 12th year and has now become a key event in the Bromsgrove sporting calendar, last year attracting almost 500 runners.

The increasingly popular adult race is a challenging course on picturesque country lanes with a now infamous sting in the tail – a mile long hill close to the finish. But waiting for runners at the end will be a big cheer from an enthusiastic Carnival crowd, a finisher’s medal and this year for the first time, the option for a beer from Bird’s Brewery.

And for the under 15s, there is a Children’s Challenge fun run of about 1,500m held within the safe confines of Sanders Park with all finishers again getting a special Carnival medal.
