The Proctor Family and Friends Fundraisier

Today I met a lovely family, a family dealing with terminal illness. Ian is 36 years old with a young wife and family he has been attending Primrose for several months.

Ian’s family and friends got together and organised a fun day at Abbey Dale Community Club in June. There was live music from the Glammy Dodgers a bouncy castle, different stalls and a tombola and auction. A friend of the family had his head shaved to raise extra funds!

Approximately 500 people supported the day £1,400 was raised and everyone had a great time.

Karen Coles a close family member said by helping Ian and his family has helped me feel stronger, family is so important”

Debbie Ian’s’ wife said “ Its helped so much being connected with Primrose. Charlie Dean has been working with the children we have been making a memory box . The girls take the worry dolls to bed at night which really helps. It has made such a difference as a family knowing that there is someone there for us. Ian can see a difference when I have been to Primrose for my counselling. ”

The patients and staff would like to thank the Proctor family and their friends for their support.
We would also like to thank the organising committee
June Weston, Karen Coles, Diane, Angela , Clem and Sam Dallaway, Paul and Lorraine Grummet.

From everyone at Primrose Thank you
