Primrose Lights of Love Appeal to shine again this Christmas

Primrose Hospice is launching its annual Lights of Love Campaign for 2016, allowing people across the Redditch and Bromsgrove area to remember lost loved ones at this special time of year.

Lights of Love is an opportunity for family and friends to remember someone special by dedicating a light to them on one of our Christmas trees in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Rubery. Their names are placed in remembrance books around our trees for family and friends to visit throughout the festive season.

In return, we ask for a donation to Primrose Hospice, allowing the hospice to continue its vital work. We support patients living with life-limiting illnesses, and their families and the hospice has to raise over £1.6 million per year, in order to continue to provide essential services free of charge. Each year, the Lights of Love appeal is hugely successful in raising these crucial funds.

Our Bromsgrove book of remembrance will be placed outside Asda on Market Street & at Bromsgrove Methodist Church, from 19th November. The Redditch book will be placed beside the tree in the Kingfisher Centre and at Redditch Crematorium from 20th November.

Our Rubery book will be placed on the information board by our tree from 28th November. There will also be books at branches of Thomas Brothers Funeral Directors, from 24th November.

We also hold three remembrance services. Our Bromsgrove service is on Saturday 19th November at 3.30pm, at Bromsgrove Methodist Church. Our Redditch service follows on Sunday 20th November at 2pm, at St Stephen’s Church. Finally, our Rubery service is on Sunday 27th November at 4pm, at the Beacon Church Centre.
