Primrose Hospice Annual Golf Day - Feedback

Thank you to you and your team members and guests for your support whether it was for golf, dinner or both. Will you please pass these thanks on as we are unable to write to everyone individually.

The number of golfers during the day was slightly down and in the evening we had about the same attendance as last year. Against the background of the recent economic climate we are pleased with the outcome - on the day we had a creditable result and raised just over £5,500 for the hospice – and are grateful to all those who supported us.

We have been deliberating over what to do next year and are making some changes.

As most people thoroughly enjoyed the golf at Kings Norton we shall stay there. However we are moving the date from June to September. The date for your diary is Friday, 9th September 2011.

Next year we shall be celebrating our 20th Annual Golf Day and have decided to hold the evening function in a marquee in the grounds of the Hospice. This will be compared by Peter McGovern, former Head Professional at the Belfry and a well known after dinner speaker. We intend the evening to be “different” as our fundraisers will organise it. Further details will be sent out early next year. I do hope you will be able to support us again.
