Primrose Choir Raise 5,000

Primrose Choir has raised £5,000 for Primrose Hospice through a series of public concerts and private performances through 2016.

Primrose Choir raise thousands of pounds each year for Primrose Hospice, with the members giving their time and voices for free.

The choir, which was started in April 2000 by Kay Hadley (Musical Director), has grown, from the original small group, to over 50 members with substantial soprano and alto sections and a strong group of tenors and basses.

The money was raised as part of their 2016 work, where they held 3 public concerts as well as some private performances.

Emma Williams, Fundraising Manager – Community Engagement, said: “The donation from Primrose Choir was simply overwhelming.

“We would like to say huge thank you to all the members of the choir for their continued dedication and support.”
