May and June 2015 Fundraising Round-Up

We have had some fantastic help from our fundraisers recently, here’s a brief round up:

A charity Golf day was held on 21st May at Redditch Golf Club and raised £2,590 for Primrose. The sunny day saw 72 players tackle the course. ‘Beat the Pro’ and a raffle including a weekend’s loan of a vintage E-Type Jaguar, were both hugely popular.

Rachel Bannister ran the Bristol 10k and raised £345 for us.

Local children Ella and Charlie Whitehouse, and Sam and Jack Burns have raised a whopping £463 for Primrose Hospice, in memory of Ella and Charlie’s father, Jonathan Whitehouse who was cared for by Primrose.

Dave and Rachel Mills took on the gruelling London 2 Brighton 100k walk on 23rd May, to raise money for Primrose Hospice. They trekked day and night to raise money in memory of Rachel’s mum Dot, who was cared for by Primrose. See them in the local press here

Finally, we currently have places left on our Parachute for Primrose jumps. We have the following:
- 1 place for 25th July
- 10 places for 27th September

Places close at the end of June. To sign up, just email sarah@primrosehospice.org or call on 01527 889 796, and we will send you a sign-up and sponsorship pack. Our appeal went out in the local papers here
