Lucky for some! 13 volunteers to revamp the garden of local Day Hospice



Thirteen volunteers from the Department for Work and Pensions gave up a day of their time to volunteer in the gardens of the Day Hospice.

On 12th May, each volunteer donated £10 to cover the cost of some flowers, which they used to brighten up the gardens.

They also got their paint brushes out to stain a gazebo. The gardens are usually maintained by our brilliant team of regular volunteer gardeners, and the additional plants were a welcome addition.
