2008 is Primrose’s 21st anniversary of serving the local community.
There will be lots of activity to help celebrate our coming of age. Click here if you would like to join us at one of our events.
To help celebrate our special year, Stephen Morris of Grafton Manor, his father John and son Henry are embarking on a motorbike challenge.
The expedition will see them setting off from Grafton Manor in Bromsgrove on 19th October for Santander in Spain. From here, they will journey on to Tan Tan in Africa – the gateway to the Sahara Desert – taking in Casablanca and Marrakech, before returning home triumphant on 2nd November.
You can support Stephen, John and Henry and Primrose Hospice as we attempt to raise £21,000 by sponsoring a mile of their journey. Click here.
There are lots of other ways you can support us in our 21st anniversary and if everyone in our catchment area gave just 21p, we could raise as much as £36,000! This could pay for:-
- Physiotherapy for a whole year
- Lymphoedema Nurse for a year
- Day Hospice care for a whole month
- Four months of bed care at the palliative care unit ‘Primrose at the Princess’.
We have to raise £1.2m each year to help pay for Primrose’s services. Please help us achieve this in our 21st year.
- Ask for a homebox and drop in your loose change during the year.
- Buy a Car Sticker for £1.00.
- Join us at one of our events. Ticket prices will end in 21p as a reminder of our anniversary!
- Buy a commemorative pin badge.
- Set up a Regular Standing order for £2.10 per month (or an amount of your choosing).
- Hold your own 21 themed event (remember 1987?).
