leaders and owners not only gain personal satisfaction
in helping local patients with cancer, but can
also facilitate a good team spirit amongst their
employees, which in turn can help business performance.

Primrose Hospice is a member of Business Network International's ("BNI") Blackpear Chapter, which meets each Friday morning at 7.00am at Bromsgrove Rugby Club. Webbs
Webbs, the award-winning garden centre in Wychbold, has chosen Primrose Hospice, St Richard’s Hospice and Acorns Hospice as their charities of the year for 2007. Primrose is delighted that the recently named Number 1 Garden Centre in the UK, has chosen to support us and looks forward to working with Webbs’ management, employees and customers over the coming months.
If you are a ‘budding’ photographer, you may be interesting in entering a photograph of your garden or favourite flower (Primrose maybe?) into the Webbs Photography Competition. The 12 winning entries will be used in Webbs’ 2008 calendar, with proceeds to the three Hospices. What’s more, the 12 winning entries will each receive Webbs Gift Vouchers worth £30, along with 12 copies of the calendar to give to friends and family. Closing date for entries is Friday 15th June. Strategic Procurement Solutions
We are delighted that Strategic Procurement Solutions will be donating £50.00 from each client project undertaken to the hospice towards our bedded unit appeal. This will pay for Primrose’s contribution to the costs of caring for one patient in one bedroom at the palliative care unit for one day. In addition, they will be encouraging their clients to consider donating their unwanted mobile telephones, and printer cartridge casings to Primrose.
