A spot of tea and cake anyone?

On Sunday, July 14 at the Graeme Hick Pavilion, Worcestershire County Cricket Club there is a fantastic afternoon of tea & cake along with a raffles, stalls, live music and more.

Laura Taylor-Gibbs has kindly organised the event on behalf of Primrose Hospice. Go along and show your support from 1pm till 5pm.

Laura and Laice met when they started working at the same Accountancy firm in 2005, and have been best friends ever since. Laice's mum passed away from Ovarian Cancer when Laice was only 16, and Laice was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer in August 2011, having had a hysterectomy in September/October 2011, they thought everything was fine.

Laura got married in July 2012 and Laice was one of her bridesmaids, unfortunately in August 2012 Laice was rushed into hospital to have a massive tumour removed from her ovary, then to find out the cancer has spread from the tumour to her bowel and liver, she fought so hard until November 8th 2012 when she passed away in the Primrose at the Princess ward at Bromsgrove Hospital.

Laice was so positive and strong through out her illness and they even went out the week before her death to celebrate her 27th birthday at the hotel where Laura got married.
