A new chapter for Primrose Hospice

Following the retirement of Alvin Robinson at the end of May, Helen Garfield has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove. Helen brings to the role a wide range of skills having gained knowledge and experience in both the statutory and voluntary sectors.

Helen says: “I am delighted to be appointed as the new Chief Executive of Primrose Hospice. The Hospice is a unique local resource for the people of Bromsgrove and Redditch and offers an excellent range of services. As well as the Day Hospice a full Family Support Service is also available helping family members cope with losing someone they love. This includes an accredited counselling service and a wide range of complementary therapies.”

Helen goes on to say: “I am keen to keep the hospice moving forward in what is a challenging financial climate and hope that the local residents of Bromsgrove and Redditch will fully support their local charity. I feel very privileged to be in this role and look forward to working with the team in the coming months and years.”

We would all like to welcome Helen to Primrose Hospice and look forward to working together.

Helen is writing a blog about her experiences and journey as the new CEO of Primrose Hospice. If you would like to follow the blog please click the link primroseceo.wordpress.com/
